ScanOrderPay — scan, order, pay
Our own ordering and point-of-sale system for hospitality, events and clubs. Guests scan the QR code at the table, order for themselves and pay contactlessly — staff get back the trips they would otherwise make between table and bar.
A product of our own, not a reference project
ScanOrderPay has its own brand, its own website and its own customers. We built it, we run it, and we answer for it when something fails on a Saturday night.

What the system does
Built around what is actually needed in service — not around a feature list for a brochure.
Ordering
QR code at the table
The guest scans, sees the menu on their own phone and orders directly. No app to install, no waiting for staff.
Staff app with service areas
For conventional order taking: individual login per staff member, assignment to a service area, order taken at the table.
Orders arrive where they belong
Kitchen and bar see the order at the same moment. No paper slips, no walking back, no follow-up questions.
Payment and reconciliation
Contactless payment
Online at the point of ordering, or by NFC card payment on the service terminal — without a second device at the counter.
Legally compliant receipts
Receipts signed under Austrian cash register regulation (RKSV). The requirement is built in, not retrofitted.
Digital receipts via QR code
The receipt arrives on the guest’s phone, paperless. Fewer till rolls, less waste, no thermal paper in the drawer.

Compliance
Cash register regulation is not an add-on module
In Austria a till has to be tamper-proof above certain revenue thresholds. That cannot be bolted on later without rebuilding the data model — so it was part of the first design.
Signed receipts
Every cash transaction is signed and recorded in the data log.
Required receipts automatically
Start, monthly and annual receipts are generated without anyone having to remember.
Auditable on demand
The data log can be exported if the tax authority asks for it.
Data stays in the EU
Storage and processing happen exclusively on servers inside the European Union.

Questions about ScanOrderPay
Do our guests have to install an app?
No. The QR code opens the menu directly in the phone’s browser. That is exactly where most ordering systems fail: if people have to install something first, they would rather order from staff.
What does the system cost?
It depends on the size of the operation, the number of devices and the features you need. Tell us how many tables and devices are involved and you will get a concrete figure rather than a price list full of asterisks. Detailed terms are on scanorderpay.at.
Do we need our own hardware?
No, we supply it — tablets, terminals and the Wi-Fi infrastructure required, mobile for festivals and trade shows on request. We settle which devices make sense beforehand, so you do not buy what you will not use.
Can we import our existing product data?
Yes. Items, prices and categories can be imported from a list, so nothing has to be retyped.
Does this suit a club festival?
That is one of the most common cases. At festivals staff change constantly and nobody has time for training — a system guests operate themselves takes exactly that pressure off. The accounting still stays traceable and compliant.
Can the system connect to our accounting software?
Yes, and that is the usual route. Revenue is exported or passed directly to your accounting software rather than retyped at month end.
