IT projects that connect to the landscape you already have
The hard part is rarely the new application. It is connecting it to what has been running for years and must not be disturbed.
When clients bring us in
Typically the initiative is already decided by the time we get involved.
Internal IT is at capacity
The team knows the systems but has no room for an additional project alongside day-to-day operations.
Specialist knowledge is missing
A particular technology or interface sits outside what the team needs regularly.
Systems need to grow together
After an acquisition, a system change, or simply over time: data sits in several places and drifts apart.
A project has stalled
Something already started needs someone to get up to speed and finish it — often without complete documentation.
How we work
With existing systems, care matters more than speed.
Assessment before the first change
We document what actually runs, not what the documentation claims. In grown landscapes those two almost always differ.
Interfaces rather than intrusions
Where possible we connect through existing interfaces instead of writing into third-party systems. That keeps your support contracts and upgrade path intact.
Test environment before production
Every step runs in a separate environment first. Nothing switches over until the way back is settled.
Handover to your IT
Operations manual, architecture overview and training for your team are part of the project — not a separate quote.
One contact, one steady rhythm
A status report every two weeks covering what is done, what is next and where it is stuck. Including when that is uncomfortable.
Typical projects
Usually it comes down to getting data where it is needed.
ERP integration
Synchronising orders, item master data and stock levels between the ERP and upstream systems automatically.
Connecting web shop and inventory
Orders, availability and prices flow automatically — instead of through a daily CSV export.
Replacing a legacy application
Phased migration while operations continue, rather than a big bang over one weekend.
Common questions
What clients want to know before the first call
Do you work alongside our internal IT?
Yes, that is the normal case and usually the better one. Your people know the systems and the history behind them; we bring capacity and a fresh view. We work in your tools if you want that — ticket system, repository, review process.
What if there is no documentation?
That is the rule rather than the exception. We start with an assessment: look at the database, trace the data flows, talk to the people who operate the system daily. That takes time, so it appears transparently as its own line in the quote instead of surfacing later as an extra.
How do you make sure operations keep running?
Through separate environments, cutovers outside business hours and a written rollback path for every step. On critical systems we run old and new in parallel for a period before switching the legacy system off.
Do you sign non-disclosure agreements?
Of course, and before the first substantive conversation if you prefer. Projects inside existing landscapes give us sight of data and processes that are nobody’s business outside your company.
Four areas where we deliver
Let us talk about your initiative
Describe the situation and the systems involved. We will tell you what is realistic and where the risks sit.
